Special Dietary Requirement
We cater for most dietary requirements, such as, Vegan, gluten, dairy and nut free. We cannot cater for soy free as this is present in every dish in some form. We also cannot cater for Celiac guests as our caterpod is also our kitchen and cross contamination in such close proximity is a risk. If you or the person you are ordering for have any special dietary requirements, PLEASE enquire first.

- Miso SoupJapanese simplicity at it's best! A bowl of miso soup is enjoyed at any time of the day and compliments many dishes. Our miso soup is vegan & gluten free and contains aubergine, fresh tofu and spring onions.

- Seasoned Edamame (side)Edamame is a very popular bar snack in Japanese Izakayas. Simply seasoned with salt and some shichimi togarashi, if you fancy a little spice. Listed as spicy for the mustard kick.
- Green bean sesame salad (side)Our green bean salad tossed in an umami rich sesame dressing. This type of dish with a sesame dressing is called 'gomaae' and is a popular Izakaya bar snack in Japan. (Allergens - wheat soya sauce, sesame, barley, peanut, soybeans.) **Gluten free sauce also available upon request.**

- Chicken or Pork Katsu Rice BowlNOT CURRY! Katsu refers to the panko coated cutlets which are deep fried and served on a bed of hot rice and shredded cabbage and dressed with either our homemade hatcho miso sauce or Japanese Tonkatsu brown sauce & kewpie mayo. YAKISOBA
*Please note that if you wish to have yakisoba noodles as one of your choices, we would need the griddle free to do this, so okonomiyaki or gyoza dumplings will not be available as another choice* Basically a Japanese stir fry! Chicken, cabbage, spring onions, white onions, leeks, carrot and pickled benishoga ginger are griddled together with egg noodles that have been marinated with sesami oil and worcestershire sauce. **Plain noodles without the marinade are available for vegetarian option. Please specify at ordering.**

- Zaru Soba (small main) - £5.50Buckwheat noodles, chilled and served with a cold tsuyu dipping soup with the option of adding grated ginger or wasabi to the soup and spring onions. A beautifully simple dish.
- Hiyashi Chuka - Cold Noodle Salad - (main) £8.50£8.50A very popular summer time dish in Japan. Cold noodle is topped with ham, tomato, cucumber egg, sweetcorn, spring onions and pickled ginger and drenched in a cold dressing. So refreshing! Japanese Mayonnaise and mustard can be added for an extra kick. Omit the ham for a vegetarian version
