Country Loaves
Our breads are made the old-fashioned way, using natural starters and wholesome ingredients. For those who've never tried our sourdoughs before, you may be surprised to find that such lofty loaves contain little to no commercial yeast.
- Country Sandwich LoafThe "go to" loaf for tasty sandwiches. With a bit more whole wheat flour than the Pain au Levain, it's flavorful with - or without - toppings.
- Pain Au Levain BatardThis traditional loaf features a bit of whole wheat, rye and natural starter. It's crusty and chewy and basically scrumptious - with or without spreads.
- Pain RustiqueOur Pain Rustique is a very mild sourdough that's made with unbleached and whole wheat flours. With a nice chewy crumb and golden crust, this hearth loaf a favorite for many.
- Pain VéritableWe order wheat that's produced in a small French mill for this delicious traditional levain bread. Our special blend of flours and technique result in a loaf that's moist, just a touch chewy, and very flavorful.
- Belgian Vacation aka Chocolate Cranberry SourdoughOur sourdough based batard is loaded with fine Belgian chocolate and just the right balance of tart cranberries. The perfect treat.
- Crave the Cranberry WalnutThis rustic hearth bread has just the right amount of cranberries and walnuts to satisfy your "just a bit of sweet" craving in just one bite (okay, maybe two!). Slightly warmed, it's redolent of the holidays and is terrific for breakfast.
- Flax Seed Sourdough RyeThis is one of those breads that you can feel really good about eating. Not only does it have a light sourdough flavor, it has the benefits or both rye and flax seeds. Its texture is great for sandwiches, too.
- Floridian Deli RyeIf you've never been a fan of rye bread, this one may get you hooked. No seeds, and great flavor. It's lightly colored, and moist, and doesn't have an overpowering "rye" taste. Amazing sliced for sandwiches.
- Lotta KalamataThis moist and flavorful loaf is filled with rich olives, the perfect amount of herbs and a touch of olive oil. Warmed ever so slightly, it's heaven on a plate.
- Plump Raisin and Pumpkin SeedThis country bread is sweet and a bit crunchy. The raisins make it moist and a bit more dense than the standard Pain Au Levain. Perfect for slicing thin and toasting - even more amazing as a thick chunk with peanut butter. We invite you to see for yourself.

- Sunny SemolinaJust looking at this golden loaf will make you smile. The durum semolina flour gives it a yellow hue, and makes it both moist and richly flavored. People limiting egg and butter type breads like challah may turn to this loaf for the moist, rich texture they may be missing.
