- Carlos Serres 2017100% Tempranillo. Hand picked. Cherry red colour with brilliant purple rim. Aromas of mature red fruit with a core of spice and delicate liquorice hints. This wine is complex, well structured, fresh and fruity. Extremely versatile. A perfect match for Mediterranean Cuisine, such as fried fish or vegetable dishes, rice, pasta, pulses, red and white meats and even cheeses.$32
- Beronia Reserva Rioja 2014Beronia Reserva is aged for 20 months in mixed French and American oak barrels. A hybrid barrel invented by winemaker Matias Calleja, American staves and French tops. This wine is attractive on the nose with aromas of roasted almonds and walnuts followed by ripe fruit such as plum and white pepper. All giving complexity and freshness. Full bodied on the palate this wine shows balanced acidity and ripe fruit with a sweet and smooth finish bringing to mind cacao and roasted hazlenuts. A delicious wine perfect with roast meat, grilled cutlets, cured Iberico meats and mature cheeses. Drink through 2026.$46
- Emendis, Nuallonge BrutCava Emendis Brut Rosé, has an agreeable cherry colour with nuances of bright salmon; it has a fine bright stream of bubbles forming a true corona. The nose is rich with aromas of wild fruits and redcurrant. It hints at a light, reduced maturation producing a great elegance. On the palate it begins as slightly piquant with spicy notes. The fine and enduring bubbles are well accompanied by a balanced acidity. It leaves a toasty memory and a generous, sweet finish.$36
- Suriol, Brut Nature ReservaFrom 3 different certified organic plots of native grapes average age 25 years old; the cuvée is comprised of 40% Macabeo from La Plana, 30% Xarel-lo from L’Hort, and 30% Parellada from Les Carbasses. The wine is fermented with wild yeasts -by parcel- in stainless steel vat with natural malolactic fermentation occurring in underground concrete tanks during the winter after the harvest. The wine is then racked and bottled, where it rests on the lees until sale. This is a lovely Cava with rich flavors, freshness, and an elegant balance between fine bubbles and notes of bread yeast, honey and citrus.$52
- Pares Balta RoseIt is a coupage of Grenache and the indigenous catalan varieties Parellada and Macabeo and it is made according to the traditional method. A vintage wine carefully matured in underground cellars on its lees during 18 months and finally bottled with zero dosage. A delicate and elegant cava with smooth bubbles and a predominating touch of pure red fruits that bring more complexity to this fresh and crispy sparkling wine. It will lead you to the spring and summer reminiscence. Thanks to its aromatic and richness nose with scents of strawberry and raspberry that follow through onto the palate and then develops into a wonderfully intense and concentrated pastry finish and spicy background, you can enjoy by the glass with some typical pastry or as a coctel with an appetizer. - Caliza-Marques de Grinon"Caliza" means limestone in Spanish, used in naming this wine so as to pay homage to the unique soil profile at this Dominio de Valdepusa estate. The moderate layer of clay topsoil over rocky limestone leads to elegantly structured wines. Caliza is a blend of Syrah and Petit Verdot which are fermented in stainless steel followed by one year in new and second passage French oak. Deep purple in color with ruby reflections, this wine shows alluring notes of blackberries and cassis with undertones of cinnamon and minerality. On the palate, it is beautifully full-bodied and silky with refreshing acidity and flavors that unfold into the long-lasting finish. DELICIOUS WITH STEAK PAELLA OR ROSSEJAT$45
- Mokoroa TxakoliMokoroa has fashioned a very distinctive, crisp, and refreshing Txakoli, and an outstanding value for its denominación. Situated just outside of San Sebastián on the coast of Basque country, the winery’s seventeen acres of Hondarrabi Zuri and Hondarrabi Beltza vines are planted in the famous Getariako Txakolina. The Txakoli opens with a shimmering green-tinted lemon color, and offers aromas of lime juice, honeydew melon, green plums, jasmine, and saline minerals. Propelled by a healthy dose of dissolved CO2, Mokoroa’s Txakoli enlivens the palate with suggestions of Key lime juice, green apple skin, gardenia blossoms, and sea spray. The wine finishes fresh, saline, and vigorous with layers of citrus zest, pine buds, quinine, and fresh ginger. It will prove a superb choice for refreshment served now and over the coming year with artichokes, sautéed green leafy vegetables, grilled asparagus, fresh and steamed shellfish, light squid tapas, ceviches, and delicate poached white-fleshed fish dishes$34
