- ViajeViaje [ve-ah'-hay] "spanish for journey" What is Viaje? I get asked this question a lot. Viaje is a boutique cigar company specializing in the small batch approach to cigar making. Viaje represents the idea that quality is better than quantity. That small is better than big. That few are better than many. Why small batch? Well, there are many reasons. Quality, consistency and most importantly, this is where I get my inspiration. If you enjoy mass produced cigars, you are in the wrong place. We use tobacco sparingly to execute our vision of what a cigar should look and taste like. Viaje represents the boutique in every sense of the word. This is what I enjoy, this is what I provide, and this is my promise. Join us in the revolution against mediocrity.
- Foundation CigarsWith over 20 years of love and dedication for the industry, we merge old world traditions with modern-day styles and customs to produce unique premium cigars. Our goal is to work with specially selected tobacconists who recognize our passion and dedication for quality artisan products. We have developed strong relationships with some of the best tobacco growers throughout the world and have established our production in the valley of Esteli, Nicaragua. Founder and master blender, Nicholas Melillo has traveled the world procuring tobacco, toiled in factories overseeing production, and blended some of the top-rated and best-selling cigars in the industry. Under his watchful eye, Foundation Cigars are inspected and each bale of tobacco is smoked to verify flavor, combustion, and aroma.
- Dapper CigarsIan founded Dapper Cigar Co. in 2013 with the goal of making just one great cigar. That one great cigar started as Cubo Claro and was made at Gonzalo's small factory in the middle of Esteli, Nicaragua. Despite really only making cigars for himself and his friends, Cubo took off locally and the demand to carry it in stores put us in business. Years later we're making alot of great cigars and Ian spends his time doing all the small things that "glue" Dapper together. Branding, blending, proofing, and traveling across the country to sing the virtues of Dapper are amongst many of the jobs which currently occupy his time. Ian's currently based out of Central California and spends time between California and Nicaragua.

We believe in continuous improvement, and in a marriage of tradition with innovation. We feel that tobacco lives, breathes, and speaks to us; it leads the blend and it names the brand. - TatuajeStarted in 2003, Tatuaje is the brainchild of Pete Johnson. With years in the industry, he knew what he was looking for when he decided to create a cuban style cigar. When he met José Pepin Garcia and started blending, he knew he was on to something special. The story since then has been nothing short of magic. These cigars are manufactured by hand in the cuban style, including a beautiful triple cap. The construction is superb. If you've traveled abroad and have had the fortune of smoking cuban cigars, you will immediately recognize the similarities, from the construction to the blending. There are many lines in the Tatuaje brand, all blended by Pete Johnson. See the other categories for more lines like Havana VI, Cabaiguan, Ambos Mundos, La Riqueza and El Triunfador! The first and most exclusive line is La Seleccion de Cazador, referred to as the Cabinet Selection, as well as the more colloquial 'Brown Label'. These are produced in Miami by a select group of rollers dedicated to this line. Ecuadorian Habano wrappers encase a full bodied blend of Nicaraguan filler. Six vitolas were rated 90-93 by Cigar Aficionado between 2004-2006. With seven standard vitolas and additional Reserva vitolas, there are many favorites to discover! Tatuaje cigars are made at the My Father Cigars factory in Miami, and at My Father Cigars in Nicaragua.

- Arturo FuenteIn 2012, the Fuente companies celebrated 100 years of hard work, dedication and family tradition. When the Fuente companies was established in 1912, Arturo Fuente would have never dreamed his passion for cigars would become a global benchmark for the cigar industry. He started his company with humble beginnings, rolling and blending cigars in the back of his house with his wife Cristina and two sons, Carlos and Arturo Oscar. Four generations later, the company is still family-owned and operated in the Dominican Republic. From the very beginning the focus of making a Fuente cigar was quality; quality tobacco, quality craftsmanship, and taking the time necessary to make a truly remarkable cigar. “We don’t hurry things; we just do things the way they are supposed to be done.” says Carlos Fuente Sr. 100 years later, a burning passion for cigars continues to inspire the Fuente family. As they pass down to their children the culture and traditions of Arturo Fuente, the Fuente family will continue to make the world’s finest cigars for generations to come.

- Alec Bradleyn 1996, I knew nothing about cigars, other than which end to cut and which end to light. It was my passion for cigars that encouraged me to invest my life into something I love; founding Alec Bradley Cigar Company. As a company we’ve had our ups and downs, but we are proud of the fact that many have come to love and enjoy our cigars. I could sit here and tell you things like “our brand is synonymous with quality” and “we make the best cigars”, etcetera, but the reality is that we just want to make cigars that people can enjoy. The part of our history that really makes us who we are today comes down to a 10-second encounter that changed everything.

- La PalinaSamuel Paley opened the Congress Cigar Factory in Chicago in 1896. Its first cigar range was La Palina, named in honor of Sam’s wife, Goldie Drell Paley. Three decades later, alas, Congress suffered the fate of many turn-of-the-century cigar brands and folded with little fanfare. La Palina would have remained a footnote heritage cigar brand were it not for Sam’s grandson, Bill, the son of CBS founder William S. Paley and socialite/fashion icon Barbara “Babe” Paley. The revival of La Palina in 2010 was driven by Bill’s desire for a personal signature luxury cigar. Following his grandfather’s dedication to excellence and his parents’ meticulous attention to detail, Bill began a journey to relaunch the all-but-forgotten brand, dedicating himself to creating cigars emblematic of the original La Palina. The new La Palina ultra-premium handmade cigars offer a meritage of the finest aged tobacco leaves selected and blended by master artisans. The line exemplifies master craftsmanship, rolled with unwavering quality according to tradition and redolent of the classic bon vivant Paley style. The draw is effortless, the burn even, the blends smooth and well-rounded, the construction flawless: an unforgettable cigar experience for the discerning palate — one, we’re quite confident, that would have made Sam Paley himself quite proud.

- E.P. CarrilloErnesto Perez-Carrillo has roots that run deep throughout the Dominican Republic. When orders for his former brand, La Gloria Cubana, skyrocketed in the 1990’s, Ernesto could not meet demand with his small factory in Calle Ocho. At one point, La Gloria Cubana’s Torpedo (rated a 93 by Cigar Aficionado in 1993) was in backorder for 12 months, and the need for a larger factory was obvious. He selected a site in Santiago, Dominican Republic to be his second factory. When time came to choose a location for the E.P. Carrillo factory, Ernesto knew exactly where it needed to be located. In April 2009, he signed a lease on a 40,000 square foot, stand-alone building in Santiago’s Zona Franca, and immediately began the construction of his dream factory, which he named Tabacalera La Alianza. Here is where the tobacco is fermented, aged, hand-made, and packaged under the supervision of Ernesto. Spread across 12 rolling tables, experienced cigar-rollers are in essence re-learning their craft as they are trained to roll cigars the “Cuban way” – the cigars are beautifully finished with a triple-cap method. Ernesto Perez-Carrillo’s achievements have been driven largely by an insatiable desire to understand the intricacies of tobaccos from all over the world. “Each tobacco has its own character. You have to treat each tobacco differently and understand how they work together,” he says.
- Drew Estatehe Drew Estate story is one of daring, heartbreak & success but, most of all, one of passion for cigars and the country of Nicaragua, where we have been making cigars since 1998. Jonathan Drew & Marvin Samel are not your average cigar makers, their story does not start in Cuba, or with fathers in the cigar business. It started with a dream, and through their can-do spirit and never-say-die attitude made Drew Estate one of the premier cigar manufacturers on the planet. The two frat brothers from New York started out small…. Small, as in a 16 square foot retail kiosk in the World Trade Center in NYC. The early days were fraught with peril, you’d think these two frat brothers went to the school of hard knocks. Picking themselves up, dusting themselves off and never backing down would become a trademark in the years to come for them & their fledgling cigar company, Drew Estate.
- OlivaMelanio Oliva cultivated his first tobacco crop in Pinar Del Rio, Cuba in 1886. His growing operations were suspended while he fought in the Cuban War of Independence. After returning from the war, Melanio resumed his tobacco growing operations. In the early l920’s Melanio’s son Facundo Oliva took over the growing operations. Facundo cultivated the Oliva family tobacco fields for several decades. As Cuba became overrun by the Communists, the tobacco landscape changed. Facundo’s son Gilberto Oliva shifted from growing, to brokering tobacco. In the early 60’s the pressure became too great and Gilberto traveled from country to country in search of the conditions to recreate that distinctive Cuban taste. His travels took him to Honduras, Panama, Mexico and even the Philippines. Gilberto finally found fertile ground in Nicaragua. Today Gilberto along with his family are Nicaragua’s second largest grower of Cuban-seed tobacco. Using these same time tested methods of curing, blending, and rolling that built an empire, the Oliva cigar lineup has garnered tons of top- ratings from industry experts and consumers alike, culminating with Cigar Aficionado Magazine awarding the Oliva Serie V Melanio Figurado Cigar of the Year in 2014. If you have yet to experience an Oliva, you’re missing out on one the best cigars that you will ever smoke!
- My FatherIt all began from a very humble beginning when Jose Pepin Garcia and his family established a very small cigar factory in Little Havana in 2003. Jose Pepin Garcia could not have imagined at that moment that his love and passion for cigars would help him to build one of the most recognized companies in the cigar industry. His companies have become synonymous with highly rated and well-distinguished brands. It all starts in 1950 when Jose Pepin Garcia is born in Cuba. Just a few years later, barely 11 years old he sits for the first time at a rolling table to roll his first cigar. Inspired by the spirit and tradition of a family who grew alongside with tobacco leaves is where Jose Pepin Garcia was born and developed. "It is about a lifelong passion! It is not just about a cigar, it is a dream – the Garcia's dream!" says, Jose Pepin Garcia. On August 29, 2009 one of the most memorable moments in the Garcia’s life was the opening of My Father Cigars in Nicaragua, also known as the Garcia Family Industrial Park. A seven-acre complex with an installed production process, which enables the tobacco to be harvested, packaged and shipped to our retailers. Don Pepin Garcia who was recognized as “America’s Hottest Cigar Maker” by Cigar Aficionado in 2008 and his son Jaime Garcia have developed countless blends for My Father Cigars and for several of the most prestigious companies in the market. Janny Garcia, Pepin’s daughter is in charge of the My Father Cigars headquarters. With great team leadership comes a great team accomplishment, the largest international recognition was granted by the cigar industry.
