The Most Important Part of Therapy Is The Experience of My Clients
It's been my great privilege to work with a range of people of different ages, backgrounds, professions, each with their own unique story. For my part I believe that where we are is not fixed, we may struggle, may hit dips, fall down holes, but that's not the end of the story, unless we chose for it to be. That's why therapy needs engagement. Here is what some of my clients shared of our experience working together.
"You're alright"
University Student - Panic Attacks, Social Anxiety
"Helen is a compassionate and thoughtful counsellor who has helped me to better understand myself.... Her comments are constructive and I always leave sessions thinking about what we discussed"
IT Consultant - Anxiety, Self Esteem
"I was a little sceptical about the benefits of therapy/counselling. I am now a firm advocate. The time I spent with Helen has been life changing for me... the end result has given me a huge sense of clarity. Helen has an unobtrusive, non judgmental manner but is not afraid to nudge a hard headed client like me to some of the greatest 'aha moments' I have ever experienced. The benefits have been truly enormous. I will be forever grateful to Helen."
Office Manager - Relationship Issues
"I thought this was going to be crap, I just thought why not give it a go? It's been the opposite of crap"
Senior Headhunter - Depression
"I found Helen very skilled at creating a relaxed, natural, non-judgemental and collaborative environment Helen seems to have an intuitive sense of how far she can challenge me on a given topic at a particular time..."
Artist, Exhibition Organiser - OCD
"Helen's style of therapy is incredibly effective and refreshingly unique. She is kind, a great listener, non-judgemental, and exceptionally patient. She helps her clients find strength within themselves and uses creative methods and actionable takeaways to provide support beyond the main sessions....I highly recommend Helen for her expertise, professionalism, and deep sense of caring for my happiness and well-being."
MBA Student, employed in Social Enterprise sector - Anxiety, Intrusive Thoughts
